Hi my name is Tom Chupp I have been an over the road driver for just over 26 years. For a good part of those years I have used LED Tail lights like most of you I dread the coming of winter why all the lights I have used seem to have one thing in common! They cover up with snow and ice quickly!!!
I like all professional drivers check my lights every time I stop, But what about all the times you can't stop?
It's our understanding that LED's do not like heat so we went a different route.
By pumping winterized washer fluid though the top of the lights onto an outer lens the driver has the ability to turn the system on when they feel they need it and let it run through it's cycles of on and off until the driver feels they no longer need it and turns off the system.
By doing this it minimizes the amount of fluid used.
On cold clear sunny winter days if the driver decides there lights are clear simply don't turn on the fluid making them a great year-round all weather light.
